Context: The Stripe Terminal team is bringing programmable in-person payments interfaces with Stripe to businesses around the world.
The Terminal team is entering their First-Half Planning Cycle. They want to get input from user-facing teams to ensure that they are building the best products for users and fixing the most high-leverage problems. You have received a “Top 5 Terminal Product Needs” list from 4 different teams (both functional and geo-focused): - Sales - User Operations (customer support) - EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) - Japan From amongst those asks, the product team is only going to be able to build or fix the Overall Top 5 User-Facing Asks this half. What data points would you want to see on all of these lists, how would you analyze them, and how would you present the asks to the product team? Lastly, how do you present the decisions to each of the input teams after you have worked with Terminal to finalize their plans for the next half?
